HAPPY NURSES WEEK!

After years of fighting for a national day of nurse recognition, the ANA established May 6th as National Nurses Day with the help of President Ronald Reagan in 1982. National Nurses Week was created in 1991 when the ANA Board of Directors expanded the celebration through Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12th.
