My concern is the orientation process in a new facility. I work in surgery. Some use EMR and some don’t. How is a nurse oriented?

The Gift of Hearing

An elderly man had serious hearing problems for a number of years so he went to the doctor to find a solution. The doctor was able to have him fitted for a new hearing aid that allowed the man to hear perfectly again.

When he went back to see the doctor a month later for a check up, the doctor said, “Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again.”

The elderly man responded, “Oh, I haven’t told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I’ve already changed my will THREE times!”
