It was interesting to think of the people who crossed this rocky terrain in the era when there was no such thing as an automobile or an airplane.”

Sacramento, California
Sacramento is most well-known for being the state’s capital, but it’s more than a big city. The surrounding areas are made up of rolling hills, fertile farmland and vast landscapes. There’s also a thriving heritage in the city in Old Sacramento, which consists of cobbled streets and historic buildings (some from the 1860s). It’s still a top tourist destination. Plus, proximity to ski resorts and fabulous vineyards make Sacramento a must-see city!
