Volume 15 Number 3 - May 5th

NurseTV and Access Nurses Launch
Television Show about Nurses

Want to show the nation what it means to be a great nurse? Then grab a camcorder and create a video telling us why you rock as a nurse.
You could be on national TV!

To kick off National Nurse Week 2008, NurseTV is seeking nurses to feature in its nationally-syndicated television show about the real lives of nurses — the intense drama and powerful experiences they encounter while working on the front lines of modern healthcare. The show is set to air this fall on more than 100 television stations across the country.

This casting call is part of a national campaign by NurseTV and its exclusive staffing company partner, Access Nurses, to change the image of nursing in the media.

So if you’re a nurse who is full of passion and heart, with a story captivating enough to match your personality, we want to hear your nurse story! This first-of-its-kind competition begins with National Nurse Week on May 6.

Enter for a Chance to be on National TV:

Submit video applications at NurseTV.com by uploading a two-to-five-minute video that highlights your personality and nursing experiences.

Whether you’re a hospital RN, traveling nurse or working in an alternate healthcare setting, you are encouraged to participate in the casting call. Submissions will be accepted on an on-going basis.

To do what nobody else will do, in a way that nobody else can do, in spite of all we go through; that is to be a nurse.
