Access Nurses Weekly- Colorado An Outdoor Adventurer’s Dream

Volume 9 Number 7 - May 3rd

volume 9 - no 7

Close your eyes and imagine the state of Colorado. Can you smell the crisp mountain air? Picture the snow-powdered slopes, sweeping plains and flourishing forests? Few states can boast that it’s just as beautiful in reality as it is in theory.

Colorado, meaning “color red,” is named after the brownish-reddish color of the Colorado River, which runs through the north-western region of the state. Known primarily for its innate beauty, Colorado hosts thousands of snow-enthusiasts each year to one of its many ski resorts, including Aspen, Vail and Steamboat Springs.

But the state is about more than just wintry fun. There are 11 National Parks within Colorado’s borders and, every summer, the city of Boulder puts on a Shakespeare Festival (celebrating its 50th season). The capital, Denver, is also the state’s largest city and contains more than half of the state’s total population. For all football fans, Denver is also home to the two-time Super Bowl champions, the Broncos.

So whether you’re an outdoor adventurer, literary buff or sports fanatic, Colorado is the perfect destination for you!

Nursing Careers

I am a new grad and working on a Med Surg floor. I am really having a hard time with the whole Med Surg thing. There are way to many diease processes and everyone is different, and nothing is quite as perfect as text book either

What other nursing type jobs there are out there-I am not sure that I will do well with the whole floor-nursing thing. Any advice?
